I have been photographing weddings at Silvermere for many years now.  I love this wedding venue and always enjoy working here, so I was delighted when Clair and Paul asked me to capture their lakeside wedding day.

This wedding celebration was very much a coming together of two families with Clair, Paul and their four boys the centre of it all. There were so many little touches throughout the day that made it all special and unique to this lovely couple.  Clair and Paul had chosen purple and lilac as their theme colour.  A really pretty shades for the Groomsmen’s cravats, bouquet bindings, chair ties and venue decorations.

Clair looked absolutely gorgeous!  She wore an adorable lace tea-length bridal gown and was accompanied by three of the cutest bridesmaids.

During the wedding ceremony Max and Stephen charmed us all with their reading about the happy couple.  Well done boys, a lovely touch!

I think Paul enjoyed driving his new wife around the grounds at Silvermere in the golf buggy while we were getting our Bride and Groom shots.

Pauline had created some beautiful bridal bouquets of white roses bound with lilac ribbon for Clair and her bridesmaids, as well as white rose buttonholes for each of the groomsmen.

Sam was on hand all day to capture everything on video including the Singing Waiters.  Can’t wait to see the clips…
